The Team
The people behind EBNLab
Eilís founded and successfully operated an innovation consultancy, securing and delivering commercial and publicly funded projects for enterprise and academia. Her experience leading multi-stakeholder programmes, particularly in the area of needs-led innovation, provides strong market insight and customer access. As CEO, she leads company strategy, commercial execution and customer validation, ensuring EBNLab remains aligned with real market needs and scalable revenue opportunities.
Sean founded Dolmen in 1991 and built it into an internationally recognised design and innovation consultancy. With 30+ years' experience commercialising innovation, he brings deep credibility and access to senior leaders across industry, healthcare and academia. Sean previously chaired the NSAI Innovation Management Committee and contributed to the development of ISO 56001 and ISO 56002, giving EBNLab unique authority in structured innovation management. He has delivered Stanford-affiliated BioInnovate training at the University of Galway for 14 years, providing strong domain expertise in needs-led innovation and global industry networks that support market entry.
Ronald brings extensive experience with academic research in design innovation and digital transformation. He holds a PhD in Design Innovation and an MBA in Digital Transformation, and has delivered scalable digital platforms across education, quality management and AI-enabled regulatory systems. His expertise ensures EBNLab's architecture, algorithms and platform design support secure, scalable SaaS deployment.
